…I’m already looking forward to Friday. Because that’s when the weekend of theatrical craziness happens.
- We kick things off with an 11pm performance of The Texas Chainsaw Musical with Jamie on Friday night. (I so want to sit in the splatter section!)
- Saturday: Head to the South Side for a 3pm performance of Caroline, or Change at The Court Theatre. This is a do not miss event for me. Reviews have been stellar, and it’s breaking all sorts of box office records for The Court. Also, I really want to see E. Faye Butler onstage. This role is the role to see her in, I’d assume.
- Following Caroline, hop the Green Line back up to the loop for an 8pm performance of Turn of the Century. I’ve always been a fan of Rachel York and Tommy Tune. Not so sure about Jeff Daniels singing and dancing. But we’ll see.
- Bright and early practice 5k run with Jamie on Sunday. “Trick or Treat Trot” is next weekend!
- Sunday matinee of Pirates of Penzance in Evanston. COMPS.
For someone who loves theatre as much as I do, I’ve been spending too much time watching bad TV. It’s time to catch up!!

if you need a partner for Turn of the Century I might be interested!!!! on Saturday?
Yes – Absolutely! Looking at the goodman’s site, there aren’t many seats left for sat eve, so we might sit apart? Email me: robert.bullen at gmail dot com.
Thank God you’re seeing Caroline, or Change! I saw it three times and that wasn’t enough. Meanwhile, you’re tagged http://sarahbsadventures.blogspot.com/2008/10/tagalicious-by-hula-hank.html
