Another fabulous Janet just passed away after a brave battle and she came from Chicago area as well. ….the amazing Janet Carroll whom I met as a producer on Little Women. She played Aunt March.
Re the hats for your Aunt Janet…..someone might consider doing an Aunt Janet memorial party and every women there can pick an Aunt Janet hat.

I am a lead producer on A CHRISTMAS STORYthe Musical. We were in the Chicago Theatre in Dec.I was so impressed with the active outstanding theatre in Chicago….and yes there is still this mystique that to make it, you have to be on Broadway. Even as a native New Yorker, I find this very irritating. There is good theater all over the country and Chicago has the BEST. Broadway is highly driven by tourists. Chicago natives are true theatregoers, and supporters.Just keep on doing good theatre and don’t worry what NYC thinks.Be proud of your ongoing accomplishments, and keep trading our BESTS>
