Audra McDonald and Patti LuPone have won the award for Best Classical Album for the LA Opera production of The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny!

However, as I mentioned before, this was never an album. It’s only been released on DVD. How can an album win a Grammy when the album doesn’t exist? Last time I checked, a DVD and an album were two different things.

Someone please explain.
