Playbill.com is reporting that some company is planning to film five Broadway productions for theatrical release in 3-D. Funny, as I’ve thought of this same concept before. They already broadcast Met Operas in the theatre…why not Broadway shows? And I’m a sucker for anything in 3-D. Why, I even watched Chuck a few months ago when they aired it in 3-D, a show I’d never watch otherwise.
A brilliant idea, I say.

I saw the Radio City Christmas Spectacular last year and Santa’s ride from the North Pole to New York City is in 3-D and it’s pretty awesome. I felt like those reindeer were coming right at me!
