One year ago, I did this:
Yes: I ran in a margarita. Otherwise known as a “character building experience.”
And, joy! Look what’s in store tomorrow:
One appendage-numbing character building experience is enough for this sissy mary.
I guess this means no more Shamrock Shuffles for me. This March weather is just too volatile to spend $45 for a some safety pins, a T-shirt and guilt.
(This post comes to you courtesy of my new iMac!)
Mazel tov on the new iMac. And a wise decision to skip the run. As the owner of multiple Apple products, you are obviously already a person of the highest character. No additional building required!
I love the iMac, but I swear it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to capture that weather.com screenshot, crop it, and save it as a jpeg. Such a learning curve!
Wouldn’t one of the harder parts of running in Chicago be the unbelievably unpredictable weather? At least, that’s what I would think.
True, but March is even more nuts. Snow the day after it was nearly 60 and sunny?
